Mt. Meru

Located in the heart of Arusha National Park, Mt. Meru is the fifth highest mountain on the African continent. With breathtaking huge cliffs, it is often used as a training peak before taking on Mt Kilimanjaro. The climb is, however, an incredible experience on its own with many of our guests indicating it was the highlight of their Tanzanian experience. On the journey you will likely see giraffes, buffalos, antelopes and baboons.

Mt. Oldonyo Lengai

Rising nearly 2,000 meters this active volcano provides breath taking views across the Rift Valley and along the Gregory's Rift escarpment toward Lake Natron.

We recommend a night climb to take advantage of magnificent early morning views and avoid furnace heat. Come prepared for a difficult walk and the dangers of an active volcano. This walk is not advised for those with no experience or dealing with physical injuries.
