Our Tanzania Accommodations

We work with many styles of Tanzania Accommodation, from large hotels and guest houses in urban areas to remote, mid-range, and luxury lodges and tented camps.

While the lodges we work with offer almost every modern convenience, tented camps provide a chance to experience the natural ambience of the wild. We generally recommend a mix of the two when possible. Below is an overview of the options we offer. Every safari we plan is tailored to your interests and budget.

SASAKWA LODGE

Located in the Grumeti Reserves in northern Tanzania, the lodge forms part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem. Delight in luxury and elegance, enjoying authentic European style with East African influences.

SABORA CAMP

Intimate 1920s-style explorer’s camp situated in an untouched wilderness area of Grumeti Reserves, spanning over 350,000 acres in northern Tanzania.

CRATER LODGE

Located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, the surrounding Conservation Area spans 8,300 square kilometres, stretching from the Rift Valley to the Serengeti. The design follows the Maasai mud-and-stick manyatta style.

GIBBS FARM

One of Northern Tanzania’s oldest guesthouses, built in 1929. Located half way between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater, it’s surrounded by tropical gardens and has great views over a coffee-plantation.

SERENGETI UNDER CANVAS

One of the most luxurious of the mobile tented camps, Serengeti Under Canvas moves to follow the migration. Cluster around the campfire at night, entertaining each other with the days adventures, or simply star gazing at the amazing African sky. A truly luxurious experience.

SAYARI CAMP

Set in the northern reaches of the Serengeti, back from the banks of the Mara River and overlooking the undulating plains of the Lamai Wedge. Sayari Camp is one of the few permanent safari lodges permitted in this remote wilderness. Those that come to stay are treated to an incomparable wildlife experience, including the legendary migration of the wildebeests.

SERENGETI HOUSE

Designed for exclusive use, there’s a sense of relaxed freedom for families or friends to enjoy shared experiences in the nature. Singita Serengeti House embodies sophisticated safari-living in one of Africa’s most iconic conservation areas.

CHEM CHEM LODGE

An eco-sanctuary, the Lodge and Camp are located on an exclusive Wildlife Management Area between the expansive Tarangire National Park in the east and tranquil Lake Manyara to the west.

MANOR

With colonial-inspired decor, the Manor is set on a coffee estate adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Refined suites have sitting areas, fireplaces, terraces, and Victorian-style claw-foot baths.

KLEINS CAMP

Located just outside the Serengeti National Park in the north of Tanzania. Great terrain for bush walks and exclusive game viewing with magnificent views across the hills and safari plains.
