Day 1: Arrival and Transfer
You’ll arrive at Kahawa House in Arusha, marking the start of your incredible Tanzania safari. After settling in, enjoy a scenic drive to Arusha city center, taking about 1 hour and 15 minutes, where you can soak in the vibrant local atmosphere.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park Safari
After an early breakfast at Lake Burunge Lodge, you’ll set off for Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch. This full-day game drive will allow you to explore. the park's diverse habitats, spotting an array of wildlife, a highlight of any group safari in Tanzania. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes of the park.
Day 3: Karatu and Mto wa Mbu
Following breakfast at Tloma Lodge, you’ll drive to Karatu. Here, you’ll experience a Tanzania cultural tour by visiting Mto wa Mbu, where you can interact with locals and learn about their traditions and way of life. Sharing a meal with a local family provides a deeper connection to the culture and cuisine of Tanzania.
Day 4: Hadzabe Cultural Tour
After breakfast at Tloma Lodge, you’ll drive to the Hadzabe community. This cultural tour allows you to experience the lifestyle of one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. You’ll observe their traditional hunting and gathering techniques, enriching your understanding of their unique heritage..
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti
Enjoy breakfast at Tloma Lodge before heading to the Serengeti via Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, you’ll have a game drive, spotting wildlife as you go. Once at Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll explore its unique ecosystem and enjoy a picnic lunch with breathtaking views. Afterward, you’ll transfer to Kati Kati Camp in the Serengeti, where your experience of the vast savanna begins.
Day 6: Central Serengeti Safari
Start your day with an early game drive in Central Serengeti, renowned for its vast plains and abundant wildlife, perfect for a honeymoon safari in Tanzania. After a picnic lunch in the Serengeti, spend the afternoon exploring this incredible landscape further.
Day 7: Serengeti Safari
Another early start brings you a morning game drive, complete with a packed breakfast. After returning to Kati Kati Camp for a hot lunch, you’ll head out for an evening game drive, witnessing the Serengeti’s beauty at sunset. To cap off the day, enjoy a special sundowner in the heart of the Serengeti, creating unforgettable memories on your safari to Tanzania.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast at Kati Kati Camp, you’ll drive to Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Finally, you’ll transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight home, with an option to extend your adventure with a flight to Zanzibar.
